Where In The Heck Have We Been?

Well...here there and everywhere.

To make a long story short...when we got to the New Horizons factory last June, we decided to go for the gusto and order a brand new rig. That means we dove head first into designing our new fifth wheel, literally from the ground up.

After ten years of New Horizons (this is our FIFTH!) we had a pretty good idea of what all we would want on a new rig. You see, each of our other fifth wheels had all been gently used. And while we enjoyed every one of them, there was always the conversation that went something like this...

"What would we do if we ever built one ourselves?"

Life has been good to us, my business has grown phenomenally quickly, so we made the plunge. Along with ordering a mind-boggling array of options and having them shipped to New Horizons, I also decided now was the time
to put together a copywriting seminar...in Maine!

So...we've been just a little bit, crazily and insanely...BUSY! :0)

But it's all good, and on Tuesday evening, September 26, we pulled out of the parking lot in Junction City, Kansas with our brand new 37' triple slide 2007 New Horizons, on our cross country run to Sebasco Harbor Resort in Maine.

Getting ready to leave New Horizons, 5 p.m....

Ron added lots of gorgeous LED lights to the exterior, to match the truck. Here's our first night stop in a Walmart parking lot, lit up like a Christmas tree. Fun! And a lot safer driving at night too. I can finally see the back corner of the rig, even when it's dark out.

Idyllic stopping point in Massachusetts. A state park? Nope. Another Walmart parking lot! This was the view from our corner of the world. Pretty nice, yes?

Next stop, Kennebunkport, Maine for our seminar preparations.

Oh...and I'll let you peek inside of our new home!
